Merve Kılıç Yalçınkaya
Specialist Developmental Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist Merve Kılıç Yalçınkaya completed her undergraduate education at Bahçeşehir University, Department of Psychology. During her undergraduate education, she did her internships in two different hospitals, Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital and Balıklı Greek Hospital.
After her undergraduate education, she graduated from the Developmental Psychology master's program at the University of Kent, England. She wrote her master's thesis on “Investigation of the Metacognition of Children with High Functioning Autism with Hyperactivity and Attention Disorder Symptoms”.
After completing her master's education, she worked as a specialist psychologist in various counseling centers and carried out practices such as monitoring the development of children, maintaining individual interviews with families and providing pre-school teacher training.
She completed his second master's degree at Arel University, Department of Clinical Psychology; and her master's education internship in Istanbul Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital.
She has completed the MMPI and WISC-IV trainings given by the Turkish Psychological Association. She completed the Moxo Attention Measurement Test training. She completed EMDR I. Level given by DBE and EMDR with Children and Adolescents I. Level given by Prof. Dr. Ümran Korkmazlar. She completed the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Children training given by Dr. Clinical Psychologist Başak Demiriz and Psychiatrist Assoc. Dr. Vahdet Görümez. She completed Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy training. She completed the Attentioner Attention Training to benefit from her studies on Attention Deficit. She completed the Objective Tests for Children Training.
She uses EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy in her work. She works with children and young people with anxiety disorders, school adjustment process, school problems, test anxiety, trauma, emotional problems, depression, fears, aggression and anger control, and provides parent counseling. In addition, she implements the Attentioner attention program for Attention Deficit.
